Nia White Belt Intensive TrainingLearn to Move "the Body's Way" |
Do you sing in the shower? Crank up the music, kick off your shoes, and dance in the living room? Are you a fitness professional in search of a new groove? If so, you’ll want to look into the week-long Nia White Belt Training Course coming up November 4-10, 2006 at Morning Star Studio in Fairfield, Iowa. Nia is the hottest new trend in fusion fitness, blending dance, martial arts, and healing arts into a synergistic workout that no isolated exercise routine can match. Health magazine says, “This lyrical, dancelike routine is deceptively powerful, delivering a high-powered workout that will leave you strong and centered.” The Nia moves are drawn from nine fitness disciplines, including Aikido, yoga, jazz and modern dance. Nia promotes strength and muscle definition without the use of weights, and its freeing, energizing regimen helps heal and transform your body. You’ll tighten, tone, lengthen, strengthen, lose pounds and inches—and have fun doing it! Iowa native Stephaney Robinson will fly in from the East Coast to lead the course. A Black Belt Certified Nia teacher and trainer, Stephaney brings a passion for dance and a joyful and empathetic approach to teaching. White Belt students learn “the Body’s Way”—a breakthrough fitness concept that teaches you to move in the way that most benefits your individual body. The course is open to men and women, and graduates can be certified to teach the Nia Technique. Get a taste of Nia now with Renee and Rolf Erickson. Classes for women are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. at Morning Star Studio. Classes for men and women are Monday and Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. at Morning Star Studio. And the first class is free!
